Accessibility:
Mas Le Boach is easily accessible by car. However, as the last 4 km are dirt roads, sports cars are definitely not recommended. In winter, it is necessary to have winter tyres and/or snow chains. Especially in winter, the weather in the mountains can change quickly and drastically!
By train or plane, you can easily reach Perpignan, or Gerona in Spain. From there, you can travel the last part of the route by rental car. Always provide snow chains for rental cars in winter too!
Public transport , a scheduled bus, takes you from Perpignan to St Laurent de Cerdans and from there, for experienced hikers, it is a beautiful mostly climbing, walk of about 6km through the forest with beautiful viewpoints on the Canigou massif.
